IS IT SUITABLE TO BE DRIVEN ON?

Yes, both our Resin Bound Permeable Paving, and our resin bonded systems can be designed and installed for every application and can be specified to handle large vehicles such as busses and lorries.

IS THE RESIN TOXIC OR HARMFUL?

The resins we utilise are not toxic and are derived from natural inert materials including natural plant extracts.

WHAT MAKES IT PERMEABLE?

Our resin bound permeable paving systems are created using a blend of stone aggregates ranging from 1-3mm up-to 10mm. The stone is set in resin which provided excellent strength whilst still allowing water to pass through the small gaps.

AT WHAT THICKNESS WILL MY SURFACE BE APPLIED?

Dependant on the potential uses of the surface our resin bound systems are typically laid at 18-20mm for vehicular use and 15-18 mm for pedestrian traffic.

IS THIS SUITABLE FOR A DIY PROJECT?

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED LIFE OF A RESIN BOUND SURFACE?

Our resin bound driveways come with a 10-year guarantee, however research suggests that you ne resin bound surface is likely to last in excess of 25 years.

HOW LONG WILL IT BE BEFORE I CAN WALK/DRIVE ON MY NEW SURFACE?

This can vary dependant on ambient temperature but, typically a surface can be used for pedestrian traffic after 4-6 hours and for vehicles after 12-16 hours. These times may be extended during the colder months.

WHAT MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED?

Yes. Our resin bound driveways, paths and patios require very little maintenance, regular sweeping of loose debris and an occasional clean with a light detergent and a stiff broom will bring your surface back no a new appearance.

I ALREADY HAVE MY OWN AGGREGATE CAN WE USE IT?

Theoretically yes; However, any aggregate thoroughly cleaned and dried and meet our minimum standard. All of the stone we supply has been through many processes of screening, cleaning and drying.
